My role as Business Manager for Contrast is dual-purpose.

I love to support our wonderful clients with their hiring needs in multiple specialist markets including Medical Communications, IT, Finance and Operation Administration but my other key focus is to support and develop our Consultants, using my two decades of recruitment experience to help deliver hassle free and sustainable recruitment outcomes for businesses and jobseekers alike.

With 20 years of Agency recruitment behind me, there aren't too many things that can surprise me in the staffing and sourcing sector.

I started life in recruitment as a wide-eyed graduate in the Technical and Design end of the Construction market, placing temporary and permanent candidates across Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape sectors and progressed into a team-leading role whilst managing a successful recruitment desk which only faltered due to a Global financial crisis.

Since then I have worked in multiple markets, supporting clients with temporary and permanent hires in both contingent and RPO recruitment, working with hiring manager and developing Recruitment Professionals as a Mentor and Manager.

For over 8 years I supported the NHS with high-volume sourcing for locum Nursing across England, including Healthcare Assistants, Qualified Nurses and Theatre Practitioners.

When I’m not recruiting and managing recruiting I can usually be found Dad-Taxi-ing, playing badminton or taking in a big action film at the cinema.
